According to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, federal agents at border-crossing stations are now permitted take a traveler's laptop to an off-site location for an . Yikes! Under the newly disclosed policy, officials may also share copies of the laptop's contents with other agencies and private entities for language translation, data decryption or other reasons.
