A number of security researchers have found vulnerabilities in Chrome, Google's new internet browser. According to a report published by ZDNet, security researcher Aviv Raff has found that he can combine a flaw in the WebKit engine with a Java bug designed to dupe Chrome users into downloading executable files. Another security researcher, Rishi Narang, claims to have found a way to crash Chrome with a malicious link. OK, Chrome is technically still beta software, but early adopters should use caution. In theory, Google Chrome should be more secure than other browsers—so stay tuned. Check it all out in InformationWeek.
