Big Brother, but nonetheless, back in January of 2007, these leading internet entities began working on a document setting out IT standards for users' right to digital privacy and freedom of speech — principles that would help private companies do the right thing while providing a method to resist censorship and jailing of bloggers and political dissidents by repressive governments.
