Two must-read articles on Internet trolling were published last week in The New York Times. Trolling, if you don't already know, may be loosely defined as messing with people's minds on the Internet just for kicks, but it often morphs into identity theft, hacking and other even more objectionable exploits. See Mattathias Schwartz's article "The Trolls Among Us" and Virginia Heffernan's thoughtful response in her blog, The Medium. No IT-security professional should miss checking out these pieces.
