Spam King Goes Down for the Count

Hacking into computers wasn't the only criminal skill Eddie Davidson, known as "the spam king," was able to execute. Last week Davidson took advantage of a visit from his wife at a minimum-security jail in Florence, Colo. to jump in the car with her and make his getaway. Davidson, 35, was serving 21 months in prison for sending hundreds of thousands of unsolicited and fraudulent emails. He'd been in the Florence facility for a month and a half when he escaped. A few days after breaking out, Davidson killed "himself, a woman, and a toddler" — presumably his wife and child — in East Arkansas Place, near the town of Bennett, Colo. Very sad.
