Students Hack into School System, Change Grades
It's probably only a matter of time until this turns into an afternoon TV special. According to an article posted by Colorado's News Leader, administrators at Golden High School, the oldest school in the state, are investigating reports that hackers got into the school's computer system and changed grades. "People started giving themselves A's," said senior Jamie Hamilton. Investigators believe students may have hacked in through the campus portal system, which is meant to give parents access to grades, schedules and attendance records. “I didn’t think students could get in so easily,” said sophomore Brooke Palmer.
