Apple Remote Desktop Tiger -> Panther

I had an issue when ARD was unable to connect from Tiger to Panther. Using ARD 3.2.2 and setting-up proper client on Panther as administrator I was unable to connect on LAN.
I learned it the hard way. All you gotta do is delete /Library/Preferences/com.apple.sharing.firewall.plist file on Panther machine and reboot it.
Then go to System Preferences -> Sharing and Start Firewall. Proper ARD setting were added to the new com.apple.sharing.firewall.plist file.

SSH in Tiger stopped working after Security update

After applying Security update 2008-006 Intel in September SSH stopped working on my MacBook w Tiger 10.4.11.
I have 3 year protection plan and called Apple. They did not offer anything better than re-install 10.4.11 combined OS update.
Anybody have similar issues?
